VIDEO/ Incidents on the Turkey-Syria border, violent clashes between pro-Kurdish protesters and police!

At least 1,000 pro-Kurdish protesters tried to cross from Turkey into Syria through the Nusaybin border crossing but were blocked by Turkish security forces, who used tear gas and water cannons, an AFP journalist said.
The demonstration was called by the pro-Kurdish DEM movement to protest the Turkish-backed Syrian army offensive against Kurdish fighters in northeastern Syria.
During the incidents, demonstrators threw stones at police, shouting in Kurdish "Long live the resistance of Rojava," as the autonomous Kurdish enclave is called, which for about ten years has been under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces, which Damascus is trying to expel.
According to AFP, gatherings of protesters were also recorded on the Syrian side of the border, in the city of Qamishli.
Earlier, the two co-chairs of the DEM party, which is the third largest political force in the Turkish parliament, addressed the crowd before the march began. “The world is united against the Kurds,” Tuncer Bakirhan said, adding that “we stand with the people of Rojava who are fighting for their honor, identity and language.”
Along the same lines, he emphasized that “Rojava is resistance, it is hope,” emphasizing that “we will not allow this hope to be destroyed.” For her part, DEM co-chair Tulay Hatimogulari asked herself: “Are you cleansing Rojava of Kurds now?”
