Albanian singer confirms candidacy for MP on PDK list

Renowned singer and long-time member of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Genc Prelvukaj, has made his return to the race for a seat in the Kosovo Assembly official. He made the news public through a post on social media, where he expressed his determination to contribute even more to the country's politics.
In his announcement, Prelvukaj emphasizes that he has spent 10 years within the PDK structures, exercising various duties according to party and state objectives. He states that this experience has strengthened his conviction to be part of the political process and to seek the support of citizens in a possible new mandate.
His candidacy for the upcoming elections will be number 40 on the PDK list, a position he himself has called symbolic of his continued commitment. Prevlukaj also ran in the last parliamentary elections held in February. Despite his active engagement and the support he received, he failed to secure enough votes to win a seat in the Assembly.
With the officialization of his candidacy, Prelvukaj calls on voters to support him in this new race, promising that he will continue to work in the interest of public interests and the development of the country.
