Wanted in Kosovo for drugs, 36-year-old from Fushë-Kruja arrested, sentenced to prison and fine

A 36-year-old man has been arrested by the State Police, after being wanted by the Kosovo authorities for illegal activities in the field of narcotics and for illegal border crossing. Official police sources reported that the citizen F. Sh., 36 years old, born and residing in Fushë Krujë, was arrested.
POLICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Another phase of the police operation codenamed "Operacionalja" is being finalized by the Directorate of the Special Operational Force in the Criminal Police Department, for the capture of internationally wanted persons. A citizen wanted by Kosovo for illegal activities in the field of narcotics and for illegal border crossing is being arrested.
Following the successive operations conducted by the Directorate of the Special Operational Force, based also on the information obtained in the operational way, the 87th phase of the police operation codenamed “Operacionalja” was finalized.
As part of this operation, in Fushë Krujë, the services of the Directorate of the Special Operational Force in the Criminal Police Department captured and arrested, with the aim of extradition to Kosovo, citizen F. Sh., 36 years old, born and residing in Fushë Krujë.
The Court of Gjakova/Kosovo, with the decision dated 14.03.2023, sentenced this citizen to 2 years in prison and a 550 euro fine, of which he has 1 year, 4 months and 10 days left to serve, for the criminal offenses "Unauthorized possession, distribution and sale of narcotics, psychotropic substances and analogous substances" and "Illegal border crossing".
