Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani was asked this Monday about the budget of the three municipalities, namely Pristina, Gjilan and Zubin Potok. Osmani, in her response to the media, emphasized that she has asked the parties to gather and vote on it.
According to her, voting on the budget is permissible, while emphasizing that such a case was also committed in the government of Avdullah Hoti. She added that the parties have decided not to be present to vote.
" I asked the parties to gather and vote on the budget, for these municipalities it was a special point, but they decided not to be present. Such a thing is permissible, it is not illegal, since we voted for such a thing in the Hoti Government ," said Osmani.
Due to the failure to vote on the 2025 budget in the Municipality of Pristina, the work of the Urban Traffic lines has been suspended, as workers have not been paid for several months.
