The session on the formation of the government in Kosovo began 45 minutes late.
The candidate for prime minister is Glauk Konjufca of the Vetëvendosje Movement.
Today is the last day when this party, which received the right to form a government for the second time, tries to elect a prime minister even though it only has 56 votes out of the 61 needed.
If Konjufca also fails, Kosovo's president, Vjosa Osmani, must announce extraordinary elections no sooner than 30 days and no later than 40 days.
