USB and SPAK, 10 thousand pages of evidence for Balluk, the deputy prime minister's lawyer requests 3 weeks; Prosecutor: 5 days are enough

The meeting of the Mandates Council is being held behind closed doors, following SPAK's request to lift the immunity of MP Belinda Balluku.

Media sources have confirmed that so far at the meeting, Niko Peleshi has read the report, while SPAK prosecutors, including the head of Klodian Braho, have not yet spoken.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, DP member Gazment Bradhi requested that this meeting be held with open doors, but was opposed by Taulant Balla.

There was also debate about USB with SPAK evidence, as the Democrats demanded that it be opened and members be examined.

On the other hand, Chief Prosecutor Klodian Braho has stated that 5 days are sufficient to familiarize themselves with the acts.

Democrat Gent Strazimiri asks prosecutor Prençi, in his capacity as the prosecutor in the case: Considering that the defendant is not cooperating because he does not resign and even intimidates witnesses, whom the government publicly defends, do you personally have an urgency, a reasonable deadline within which both the lawyer can familiarize himself with the evidence and the investigation cannot be delayed?

Prençi: I think the deadline will be 3-5 days.
