3 people in Korça are being prosecuted for transporting contraband goods

Korça Police have initiated criminal proceedings against three people in Korça. During a physical search of a pickup truck driven by a 38-year-old man, the police found a quantity of firewood without the relevant documentation.
The quantity of wood along with the vehicle were seized as material evidence. The police also detained a 57-year-old man, where after a physical check, an unregistered calf without the relevant documentation was found, suspected of being smuggled.
The Local Directorate for Border and Migration Korça Border Police intensifies controls to prevent and crack down on illegalities at the border. Another case of smuggling of other goods and a case of environmental crimes are cracked down on. 3 citizens are being prosecuted . - the announcement states.
