"I came, it was done"/ Berisha's "NON-WOMAN" status is removed from the US

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha was welcomed with applause by Democratic Party deputies in the Parliament hall, following the news that has been circulating since Thursday morning that the United States of America has lifted his "non grata" status.

Immediately after he entered the hall, the Democratic deputies stood up and greeted him with applause.

Berisha, appearing smiling and pleased with the latest developments, reacted briefly from the podium in the Assembly, addressing the socialist deputies with the words: "I came, it was done."

Since the early hours of the morning, information has been circulating in political and media circles that American authorities have decided to lift the sanctions against Berisha.

So far, the news has been confirmed by journalist Çim Peka and sources close to the Blue House, while an official reaction is expected from the US Department of State and the US Embassy in Tirana.
