Gjirokastra police have arrested the owner of the "GloW" swimming pool complex, Ermal Koko, in flagrante delicto, following the tragic incident that occurred the day before, in which a 15-year-old boy lost his life.

This is about the minor A. Peçi, who reportedly may have died after coming into contact with cold water and suffering a heart attack.

According to the police announcement, Koko is accused of the criminal offense of "Violation of occupational safety regulations."

Meanwhile, the Prosecution has initiated verifications to determine whether the entity had met security standards and had taken the necessary measures to intervene in emergency cases.

Ermal Koko is the husband of the Deputy Mayor of Gjirokastra Municipality, Artiste Koko. Investigations are ongoing to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident and determine the respective responsibilities.
