England wrapped up their World Cup preparations with a convincing 3-0 win over Costa Rica in Orlando, a match that was delayed by an hour due to lightning.

The weather was actually the only factor that worried the English, who recorded their second victory after the one against New Zealand last Saturday played in Tampa, also in Florida.

In the match against New Zealand, captain Harry Kane scored his 73rd goal for the English national team, while against Costa Rica it was vice-captain Declan Rice who gave the Three Lions the advantage in the 9th minute.

Gordon doubled the lead with a penalty in the 23rd minute, while just before the end of the first half, in the 42nd minute, England scored the third goal with Ollie Watkins. After this match, England moves to Kansas City to its base and will start its World Cup debut on June 17 with the challenge against Croatia. On June 23, it will play against Ghana and on June 27 with Panama.
