Hundreds of thousands of citizens descend on the square/ "They accuse him of not fighting corruption", Reuters: Protests, a challenge for the prime minister!

International media continue to report and broadcast live the protest that has been taking place in Tirana for days, which demands the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
The well-known news agency Reuters writes that thousands of citizens took to the streets of the capital in what is considered the largest protest to date, initially launched against a specific project, but which has now turned into a broader protest against the government.
According to Reuters, protesters held banners reading "Albania is not for sale" and chanted "New Albania" in front of the Prime Minister's Office, as the crowd stretched along one of Tirana's main boulevards.
In its analysis, the agency emphasizes that this situation constitutes another political challenge for Prime Minister Rama, who has led the country since 2013. According to the report, some citizens accuse the government of a lack of progress in the fight against corruption and in improving public services, including healthcare.
Reuters also quotes Rama's statements, who stated that the project in question will continue and will be implemented responsibly, also emphasizing the measures taken against corruption, including the activity of SPAK.
However, according to the agency, dissatisfaction with the government remains high. Reuters also recalls previous clashes during this year's protests, related to allegations of corruption and political tensions, while emphasizing that distrust of institutions remains deep in the country.
