Casserole with peppers, rice and minced meat

Ingredients :

400 g red and green peppers 200
g minced meat
100 g rice
1 large onion
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tbsp oil per person
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
500 ml hot water

Preparation:

In a frying pan, sauté the onion in the oil until soft. Add the minced meat and cook for 5–6 minutes. Add the peppers and continue cooking until they soften slightly. Add the tomato sauce, oregano, salt and pepper. Mix the washed rice and transfer the entire mixture to a casserole. Pour in the hot water and mix lightly. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 45–50 minutes, until the rice is cooked and the surface is golden brown.
