Tirana police have arrested 4 administrators of a call center located on "Gjergj Fishta" Boulevard, while criminal proceedings have been initiated against 49 of the company's employees.
Sources confirm that the following citizens have been arrested: Ernest Kurti, 28 years old, Amanto Jeshili, 21 years old, Eljo Dyrmishi, 21 years old, and Marjo Myftari, 19 years old.
During field inspections, the Police managed to uncover the call center, through which dozens of people were deceiving citizens with the aim of illegally earning money.
In addition to arresting the 4 main people at this call center, the police have also launched investigations into 49 employees who were caught red-handed in the offices committing the criminal offense of "computer fraud."
"As a result of the immediate intervention, following information obtained through operational channels, that the second floor of a building on "Gjergj Fishta" Boulevard was a call center where computer fraud was being committed, specialists from the Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Sector, in cooperation with specialists from the Cyber Crimes Investigation Sector of the Tirana Police Department, finalized, under the direction of the Prosecution, the operation codenamed 'Hold on'," the Police announced today.
It is reported that a total of 107 devices through which the fraud was carried out have been seized, as well as other materials that will serve the investigation.

As part of the operation, citizens EK, 28 years old, AJ, 21 years old, ED, 21 years old, and MM, 19 years old, who are suspected of administering this activity and/or leading groups of employees, were arrested in flagrante delicto.
Also, in the premises of the facility, 49 citizens were caught red-handed while working, for whom proceedings were initiated while they were at large.
With the quality of evidence, materials were seized from the adapted environment with dozens of workstations, 94 computers, 11 mobile phones, 2 iPads and other materials of investigative interest.
The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
