Following media reports about the lifting of the "non grata" status against opposition leader Sali Berisha, the United States Embassy in Tirana has preferred not to comment on the change in the status of the DP leader.
When asked about these allegations, the Embassy does not provide any comment and refers the matter to the US Department of State.
So far, the State Department has not made public any new official decision confirming the change in the previous measure imposed on Berisha and his family.
