A 19-year-old man has been arrested in Lushnja after allegedly stabbing a 26-year-old man after a conflict over petty motives.
The incident was discovered after the injured man, citizen E. Ç., presented himself to the hospital for medical assistance. Immediately after the report, the police organized actions to identify and apprehend the perpetrator.
Within a few hours, the blue uniforms managed to identify and arrest citizen DH, 19 years old, a resident of the village of Stan Karbunarë.
According to preliminary investigations, the young man stabbed the 26-year-old during a conflict. The injured man is in hospital and is out of danger.
During a search of the 19-year-old's apartment, police found and seized 48,160 euros and 7,200 dollars, suspected to be counterfeit, which were thought to be intended for sale.

The services of the Lushnja Police Commissariat, immediately after being notified that citizen E. Ç., 26 years old, had presented himself to the hospital for medical assistance, injured with a cutting instrument (knife), organized the work to clarify the incident, identify and capture the perpetrator.
As a result of rapid investigative actions, within a few hours, citizen DH, 19 years old, resident of the village of Stan Karbunarë, Lushnje, was identified, arrested and put in handcuffs.
Investigations suspect that this citizen, after a conflict for weak motives, stabbed citizen E. Ç., who is in hospital, out of danger.
During the search of the 19-year-old's apartment, police services found and seized 48,160 euros and 7,200 dollars, which are suspected to be counterfeit and were possessed with the intention of being put into circulation.
Following procedural actions, specialists from the Section for the Investigation of Crimes against the Person at the Fier Police Department arrested citizen DH for the criminal offenses of "Intentional Serious Injury" and "Counterfeiting of Coins".
The procedural materials were referred to the Fier Prosecutor's Office for further action.
