"The US has other plans for the Democratic Party", former socialist MP: How much money did he pay? This is bad and dark news

Following the developments of the last few hours regarding the decision of the United States of America to lift sanctions against former Prime Minister and leader of the Albanian right, Sali Berisha, a reaction has come from Socialist MP Petro Koçi, raising a series of doubts that lie behind this decision.
At the beginning of this reaction, Koçi raises the questions "How much money was spent on Saliu's lobbying to remove his stain in the USA?" , raising doubts about the manner and motives of this decision and linking it to possible lobbying and hidden interests, while emphasizing that such a development does not change the internal political reality in Albania.
Through this broad political analysis, the former socialist MP describes this latest development as a signal that, according to him, does not help the transformation of the Democratic Party.
"This act is bad news for the DP because, at least in the short term, the saving opportunity to renew the leadership of this great party is eliminated," writes Koçi.
The socialist also emphasizes that the hope for an "external rescue" for the opposition has faded and that recent developments do not change the dynamics of the protests and citizen dissatisfaction. In conclusion of this reaction, the former MP calls on the Special Prosecution Office to continue its work without being influenced by political or international developments, demanding the implementation of the law against Sali Berisha, who is being tried in connection with the "Partizani" file.
"I hope that SPAK will not lose the courage to continue implementing the law and establishing justice for every individual like Sali Berisha ," Koçi writes in conclusion of his reaction.
How much money did Saliu's lobbying to remove the stain from the USA cost?
Can this act, paid for with money, remove the stains that have been stamped on Sali Berisha's political face?
Even less so now that the youth and civic protests have dethroned the DP as the dominant representative of opposition energy and determination.
This act is bad news for the DP because, at least in the short term, the saving opportunity to renew the leadership of this great party is eliminated.
It seems that the US has no interest in the future of the DP. Apparently they may have other plans.
Unintentionally, the act of removing the non grata status constitutes an investment in preserving the status of moral icon in the public perception of the DP.
Undoubtedly, on the other hand, the gesture sounds ironic in relation to the citizen protest every evening on "Deshmoret e Kombit" Boulevard.
Are the Democrats really happy with this news? Only a part of them. Those who have personal obligations to Sali Berisha. The others are not. Those who look to the future, I believe, are desperate.
Also because their hope that salvation could come from the USA was dashed.
Berisha defeated the hope for salvation in the DP.
Meanwhile, Berisha unfortunately remains the most regressive political reference in the entire history of the country's semi-democratic transition.
This is bad news for political morality and the integrity of politicians.
I hope that SPAK will not lose the courage to continue enforcing the law and establishing justice for every individual like Sali Berisha.
