In the election process held this Sunday for the leadership of the local branch of the Democratic Party in Puka, the Democrats have re-elected Demir Hyseni as the new chairman.
After the vote was counted, Demir Hyseni received 275 votes, leaving behind his rival Ferit Ringaj, who secured 230 votes.
13 invalid votes were also registered in the process. The new election comes after an internal competition between two candidates, where the DP membership in Puka has decided the new leader of the local branch.
