Accident on the Cërrik-Gramsh axis, two girls remain injured

A road accident was recorded this afternoon on the Cërrik-Gramsh national road. The incident occurred at around 15:45, in the village of Shtërmen, where two girls were injured as a result.

Immediately after the accident, the injured were transported for medical assistance to the Elbasan Regional Hospital, where they are receiving the necessary treatment.

According to preliminary information, it is suspected that the cause of the accident was speeding during a wrong overtaking attempt. Authorities have arrived at the scene and are working to fully clarify the circumstances and causes of the accident.
