Selvije Jao has shared an incredibly emotional moment with her followers, remembering her late ex-husband, singer Shpat Kasapi, on the day he would have celebrated his 41st birthday.
Through an Instagram post, she has published a video where the artist appears in sweet moments alongside their son, Roel. Alongside the images, Selvija has chosen heartfelt words, expressing the pain of his absence, but also the conviction that he continues to be with them in a spiritual form.
"Today is your day... You are not far away, you are just in another form: our guardian angel. Every blessing that comes to us, every beautiful thing that happens to us, I feel as a sign from you," she writes, conveying a message that touched her followers.
Following the dedication, she dwells on moments with their young son, showing how his every word and action reminds her of his father's presence. "Roeli is saying 'Daddy'... and my heart knows that you hear him, that you are with us. Happy birthday in heaven, Shpat. 5 months without you, but always in our hearts," she concludes.
We recall that Shpat Kasapi passed away unexpectedly in November 2025, as a result of a heart attack, while in Italy. His loss at the age of 40 shocked the Albanian music scene, leaving behind a huge void in the public and an artistic legacy that continues to live on through his songs.
