"The Democratic Party should enter all the signatures it has given for the eight candidates, enter them into the race, decide the winner with a political decision and send it to Taulant Balla and Edi Rama. "The Democratic Party should nominate its own candidate. They have until Thursday to do it by vote. The vote should be honest, secret. If I am not supported by the DP, I cannot ask for the votes of the Socialist Party," Kalaja added.

According to her, "this is a political decision to show the public that the Ombudsman is not returning to the race."

"I don't think it's correct to withdraw from the competition," Adriana Kalaja continued.
