The trial for the macabre murder of Liridona Ademaj in Kosovo has officially begun and the taking of evidence in the courtroom has shocked public opinion, due to the names being released of those accused of the crime that was attempted to be camouflaged as a robbery.

Naim Murseli, the victim's husband, is accused of paying Granit Plava to execute Liridona, while his cousin Kushtrim Kokalla is accused of having knowledge of the planning of the murder.

Yesterday, the name of businessman Behgjet Pacolli came to the fore, who two years ago when the macabre crime occurred admitted that he had family acquaintances with the couple Naim Murseli and Liridona Ademaj. Liridona's killer said that the businessman knew about the crime, prompting a harsh reaction from Pacolli.

"The most dangerous people are not always those whom the world knows to be evil; they are often those whom you have helped the most, and who, as soon as you stop them, turn against you with venom, slander, and treachery."

"They forget the blessings they have received, they forget the hand that held them and the word that protected them. And when they can no longer bear the weight of their choices, they seek to escape by mentioning names that no longer belong to their lives. This is not strength. This is poverty of character," he wrote.

Meanwhile, the name of Behgjet Pacolli's former associate, Valon Llukës, has also emerged today. Naim Murseli's cousin has stated that the hotel room where he stayed after the crime was paid for by the dismissed administrator of Vlora Airport.

Defendant Kushtrim Kokalla stated in court that he first learned about the murder of Liridona Ademaj from news portals and not from direct involvement in the event. He added that he initially thought it was a robbery, after the first news reports about it.

He also stated that he had gone to Pristina with his family to stay with the Ademaj family, emphasizing that he had no role in the events. Regarding the hotel stay, Kushtim Kokalla said that a friend, Valon Lluka, had paid for the room, as he could not afford the cost of a luxury room.

Until September 2025, Valon Lluka was the administrator of the company "Vlora International Airport - VIA Sh.pk", when due to clashes between Behgjet Pacolli and his partner Valon Ademi, his associate Valon Lluka also suffered.
