Photos of Saraiva killer in court emerge, Daily Mail: He was paid 1 million

The Daily Mail has published courtroom photos of the hired killer of businessman Ardian Nikuljat, Ruben Saraiva, who was sentenced by the Lezha court to life imprisonment.

According to the British, he was paid 1 million pounds to carry out this murder.

Ruben Saraiva, had flown from London to Albania two months before the April 2023 crime as a key member of a British hit gang, which reportedly included a young mother from Bristol, hired to carry out the operation, prosecutors allege.

Amid tight security measures at the Lezha Court, Judge Lirim Bulica told Saraiva that he would spend the rest of his life in a high-security prison, after finding him guilty of premeditated murder in collaboration with others and illegal possession of weapons.

Dressed in a black tracksuit, standing a few feet away from his victim's wife, Saraiva nodded in the glass-fronted dock as the verdict was delivered.

The murder is suspected to have been organized by a member of a rival Albanian family living in the UK, who suspected that Nikulaj, a father of four, had killed one of their relatives as part of a 'feud' between the families, which has lasted almost three decades and has already claimed nine lives.

The British were selected to carry out the operation because, while Nikulaj would not have suspected any danger from visitors from England, prosecutors claim.
