The national team prepares for the match against Latvia

The Albanian national football team held a training session this morning after the friendly match against Gibraltar.

The players activated during last night's match focused on recovery and some light exercises, while the players without minutes in the match completed a full workout.

This afternoon, the team will travel to Tirana where they will continue preparations for the World Cup qualifying match against Latvia.

Albania won a friendly match against Gibraltar on Thursday evening with a score of 0-1. In the challenge played at the “Europa Point” stadium in Gibraltar, Silvino’s red and black team won thanks to a goal scored by Jasir Asani in the 69th minute.

The Reds will play on Tuesday at "Air Albania" against Latvia, a match valid for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
