Rama presents "Urban Renaissance 2.0": We will clean the "spider webs" from cities

Prime Minister Edi Rama is present at the event on underground infrastructure in urban areas, focusing on the arrangement of overhead cables and improvised structures that damage the appearance of cities, the gradual transition towards underground infrastructure, and the role of municipalities in this process.
" It is now entirely possible to clean our cities of plastic spider webs, and as the inventory shows, the vast majority of these cables are non-functional, but they remain there entirely as a sign of forgetfulness and lack of attention ," said the Prime Minister.
In the first 10 days of July, the Urban Renaissance 2.0 program will also be presented, which addresses a number of issues, Rama said.
"The time has come to take an exhaustive approach, to address all the remaining uninvested parts, which are actually much less than the invested parts of the water supply and sewage system. A comprehensive intervention will be needed to respond to those remaining unaddressed needs of the still missing segment of the overall network. Secondly, we will address the need to take urban and interurban transport to another level. The weakest point is peak season transport when it becomes very difficult for tourists and visitors to move by public transport. It is important to enter a phase when transport is completely green, with electric buses and secondly, to build a system for the use and management of these vehicles by municipalities. We will now extend it to the entire territory, we will have a logistics park that will serve municipalities for all cleaning, maintenance, etc. related to post-emergency situations. We will support "a program to create more significant parking capacities," the prime minister said.
Rama added that there will be funding for start-ups due to high demand.

Ministri i Infrastrukturës dhe Energjisë, Enea Karakaçi tha se synohet që zonat e populluara të mbulohen nga rrjeti 5G.
“Të gjitha zonat e populluara të jenë të mbuluara nga rrjete me shpejtësi të lartë, performancë 5G. Objektivi është ndërtimi i një shoqërie gigabit ku qytetarët dhe bizneset të kenë akses në shpejtësi të lartë”, tha Karakaçi.
