Clay pot with sausage

Ingredients:
3 tablespoons cottage cheese
2-3 tablespoons olive oil
300 g salami
300 ml water
1 tablespoon corn flour
1 onion
6 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon tomato sauce
1 tablespoon butter
1 bunch parsley
1 tablespoon red pepper
A pinch of chili pepper
Salt, black pepper
Preparation:
In a pan, sauté the sausage for 2-3 minutes until it releases its aroma. Remove it and sauté the finely chopped onion in the same fat. Add a little salt and pepper and leave until it softens and becomes transparent. Then add the tomato sauce and water (or broth). Let it simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes. In another pan, melt the butter and sauté the cornmeal until it turns golden brown. Add the cottage cheese, crushed garlic, red pepper, chili pepper and black pepper. Mix well until a homogeneous mass is created. Add the cottage cheese mass to the onion and broth, along with the sautéed sausage. Stir well and add the finely chopped parsley. Let it simmer gently until the mass is combined. Pour the mixture into a preheated clay pan and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15-20 minutes, until the surface is a beautiful golden color. Serve hot with toasted country bread.
