Israeli intelligence uncovers Iranian plot against former Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar

Israeli security services have received information about a possible Iran-linked threat to former Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar.
According to Israeli media reports, after the security alert, Ronen Bar and his wife, Dafna Bar-Agassi, immediately left the United Arab Emirates and returned to Israel.
Sources told Channel 13 that the couple's evacuation was carried out after a warning of a possible Iranian threat to the former head of the security service.
Ronen Barr and his wife recently attended a conference focused on security issues in the Emirates, where senior security and intelligence officials from various countries were reportedly also present.
However, a source close to the Emirati authorities has denied these reports, stating that there was no such conference organized by the country's Foreign Minister and that claims of an incident related to Ronen Bar's departure are "unfounded."
The same source emphasized that the UAE follows a policy of non-interference in Israel's internal political affairs and will not be involved in the country's internal political clashes or processes.
Israeli authorities have not provided further details on the nature of the suspected threat.
