Albanian boxer Florian Marku has confirmed that he intends to return to the ring, after a difficult period accompanied by sporting and personal problems over the last two years. The 34-year-old has reacted through a post on social networks, where he states that despite everything he has been through, the return is close.
"A lot has happened in my life these past 2 years, but slowly I will return to the ring. God willing. Like never before," Marku writes.
His comeback comes after a busy period, which began in March 2024, when Mark suffered the first loss of his professional boxing career, being defeated by Chris Congo. After that fight, he also underwent surgery, due to an injury that, according to reports, he had for a long time.
Meanwhile, 2025 was also marked by legal troubles. Earlier this year, Mark was arrested in London and later transferred to Greece, where he served several months in prison, in connection with a conflict that took place several years ago. He is accused of “injury” and “unlicensed possession of a weapon.”
