The moderator's breakdown at the doors of the Court, Ogren Balluku: Neda raped me in front of the children....

New details have emerged from the sensational separation of moderator Neda Balluku with her husband, Ogren Balluku, brother of Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku. On January 16, 2026, the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Tirana issued an immediate protection order in favor of Neda Balluku, due to alleged violence by her husband.

But just a few days later, it was Ogren Balluku himself who requested a protection order, claiming that he was subject to constant verbal, psychological, and occasionally physical violence from his wife. 

According to Ogren Balluku's testimony in the Tirana Court, he was verbally abused with words such as: "Ordinary, animal, criminal and thief." He further adds that he was verbally threatened with various words.

Ogren Balluku's testimony:  "I have had constant concerns from my wife Neda Balluku and I will request to be provided with an Immediate Protection Order for myself and my son.… I am verbally abused with the lowest words that can be said to a person such as (scoundrel, thief, criminal, animal, etc.)… He verbally threatens me with the words I will make you kill yourself, you will touch the bottom, don't find a grave… My two sons and I are being wiretapped in our home… On Friday, 16.01.2026, both sons were faced with psychological violence in the premises of the "Viktor Hygo" school...".

As stated in the document obtained by Boldnews, Ogren Balluku feels violated by the behavior of Neda Balluku, who, (according to him), has opened the supermarket cameras to watch his and their children's movements. He also feels persecuted by his wife who, according to him, has brought evidence to court showing that she eavesdrops on his apartment.

The Tirana Court ruled to dismiss Ogren Balluku's request, refusing to issue an immediate protection order against Neda Balluku. On the other hand, Neda Balluku claims that her ex-husband illegally prevents her from meeting her children, throws her out of the apartment and insults her in front of them, manipulating them against her.
