Epic from Italy/ Serie A team forgets goalkeeper in stadium after defeat

In an unusual post-match blunder, Cremonese left Reggio Emilia without goalkeeper Emil Auderon after the match with Sassuolo, who was forced to make the return trip to Cremona by car.

As reported by Sky Sport Italia, Audero was speaking to several Indonesian journalists in the mixed zone after the match when the Cremonese team bus left the Mapei stadium without noticing that the goalkeeper had not boarded the bus.

After being notified by Sassuolo officials that Audero was still at the stadium, Cremonese arranged for a private driver to take him home.
