Towards the derby, Partizan coach: We are ready, I expect the maximum

Oltijon Kërnaja, Partizan's coach, gave his opinion before the match against Tirana.

"As I said last week, the atmosphere within the team is very good, the boys are prepared. It is known that the derby has a different specificity, a different adrenaline from the fans, the players, the staff, everything has a different reality, a different specificity. We have tried to prepare it in the right way."

How do you expect Tirana in this match?

"Usually, in the derby, the ranking of the teams has never been seen. They have always been hard-fought matches, regardless of the position in the table, both by our team and against the opponent. Every ball has always been fought for and everything will be within the framework of the sporting struggle. We should not start from the ranking at all, or from the last matches of Tirana, we should only deal with our team so that we are ready for our team."

The last derbies have been all about Tirana. What can you do differently in the next match?

" It's a completely different story, a different approach, a different way. We will expect to always give our maximum, as the boys have done, every match fighting for every ball, every centimeter of the field, to respect the Partizan jersey and its many fans."

How do you feel since it is also your first derby?

"It's a special match, even for me. The first derby. It's the most special match in Albania, regardless of the standings. It's a derby, we'll see and leave it to the field."

How is the team doing?

"The team continues to be the same, maybe Skuka and Sembene could be on the bench. They are not ready with 100% of their form because they are coming from a 4-5 week injury. Preka continues to be injured. The other guys have done pretty well these days. I believe the team is ready."

The small number of tickets sold?

"Our fans have come. They have been present in all our matches. The Guerrillas are inseparable, they are the number 1 fans in Albania and inseparable. Despite the bad results at the beginning, they still supported us. I believe and invite them to support us tomorrow, this match, apart from the players, is more on the fans' side. More for them, so that we can make them proud with a positive result tomorrow."
