"Fatih" is expelled from "One Love", reacts after the decision: I made a mistake too

Renowned Turkish actor Doğukan Güngör, who played the role of Fatih Ünal in the hit series "One Love", has officially left the series after his drug test came back positive.

Cannabis (ecstasy) and cocaine were detected in the actor's hair and blood samples. After the results were published, the company made a firm decision that the actor would no longer appear on screen.

The actor reacted on social media after the unexpected decision.

I have just learned that, with the decision made by Show TV executives, I have left the television series "Kızılcık Şerbeti", in which I worked with great passion for 4 seasons, due to recent events that have occurred.

In this life, anyone can make mistakes; I have made a mistake too. But with sincerity and honesty I have declared, both before the Prosecutor's Office and before public opinion, that I have withdrawn from this mistake and am deeply remorseful, taking the first steps towards a clean life.

With the belief that “there is also a good in every bad”, after the last event I had fully dedicated myself to my work and had promised myself that I would live a clean life. But this evening, with this bad news that I received unexpectedly, I saw, like everyone else, how ruthless some people and institutions can be when making decisions. Meanwhile, in this life I am neither the first nor the last to have made a mistake.

I leave these ruthless people and institutions, who do not believe that everyone deserves a second chance, face to face with their conscience and leave it to God.

However, I want to clearly emphasize to the public that I am standing, strong, and keeping the promise I made to myself for a clean life, I will soon be with you again, my well-wishers, in even more beautiful projects.

In these difficult days, I thank from the bottom of my heart all the friends who have been by my side, my dear well-wishers who have not spared me their love, and my dear family. It's good that you exist...
