The Chargé d'Affaires of the United States Embassy in Albania, Nancy VanHorn, has held a series of meetings with senior Albanian government officials in recent weeks.

According to a post on social media, the Embassy reports that Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu, as well as ministers Ermal Nufi, Ferit Hoxha, Enea Karakaçi, Toni Gogu, Besfort Lamallari and Erjona Ismaili participated in these meetings.

The focus of the discussions was on strengthening cooperation between the two countries and implementing US policy priorities. VanHorn reiterated his commitment to Donald Trump's agenda, emphasizing the elimination of organized crime cartels, respecting NATO allies' commitments to defense spending, and ensuring fair deals for US companies operating in Albania.
