Will the war in the Middle East end? Iran gives its response to the US's 15-point peace plan today

Iran's response to the 15-point plan proposed by the United States for a possible peace deal is expected to come on Friday, according to sources cited by CBS News.
According to the report, President Donald Trump and senior White House officials have been informed that Tehran's counterproposal is likely to be delivered through intermediaries. However, by the time of publication, the response had not yet arrived.
US special envoy Steve Witkoff said the US administration has presented Iran with a detailed 15-point plan for a possible peace deal. The plan was conveyed through Pakistan, which is acting as a mediator in the delicate diplomatic process.
A source from the region revealed that Pakistan has had direct contacts with key security structures in Iran, which are considered the main decision-making actors in the country, beyond the Foreign Ministry.
