Former Socialist Party MP Petro Koçi said on Andrea Danglli's "Off the Record" show on A2CNN that he believes the SP will oppose the GJJKKO request regarding the "Balluku" case. Koçi also criticized the opposition's actions, stating that they consolidate the government and do not weaken it.
" If we take the issue of suspension, the SP has been against this competence. Of course, the Constitutional Court, with that 4:4 decision, left the suspension decision in force, but surprisingly, the SP is still respecting it, when it had the opportunity to respect the request of the GJKKO and not simply the decision of the Constitutional Court. We are dealing with an inconsistent position. From what was seen in the Council of Mandates and Immunities, it seemed that the SP would be against the request of the GJKKO, I do not expect a change in a few days. Apparently, the problem will be present again and in a way we are with this type of position, feeding the opposition a little, despite the fact that it is an opposition that has its own performance, which in my opinion consolidates the government, it is not that it weakens it, from the way the opposition acts ", said the former socialist MP.
