From agreements with Italy to changes in the Criminal Code and the decriminalization of defamation, the Parliament convenes today!

The Assembly meets today in plenary session, where the agenda includes reviewing and voting on amendments to the Criminal Code to decriminalize defamation.
During the review of the draft law in the permanent committees of the Assembly, the head of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, stated that "the changes proposed by the majority aim to decriminalize defamation for professional journalists, but not for defamation professionals."
The Assembly is also considering changes to the status of judges and prosecutors, an initiative of Socialist MP Olsi Komici.
Also, today the Parliament is also considering amendments to the Criminal Code.
The Assembly has also included on its agenda several agreements with Italy on healthcare, energy, and the environment.
