Lapaj calls for protest on January 31: Institutions captured by Edi Rama are not

The leader of the "Albania Becomes" movement, Adriatik Lapaj, has called for a protest on Saturday, January 31, at 6:00 PM, in front of the Prime Minister's Office, accusing the government and state institutions of failing to take measures against Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, accused by SPAK.

In his statement, Lapaj claims that the institutions are "captured by Prime Minister Edi Rama" and that, according to him, no concrete steps have been taken to bring Balluk to justice for 52 days.

He compared the treatment of ordinary citizens with that of high-ranking officials, stating that for minor legal violations, citizens face immediate punishment, while, according to him, high-ranking officials are not held accountable for abuses of public funds.

Lapaj called on citizens to disagree with the current situation and to participate en masse in the protest, together with family and relatives, describing the protest as a civic act against corruption.
