During his speech, after showing how the Rama government is destroying this national asset for clientelistic interests, he issued a strange appeal. According to Berisha, "if we do not overthrow this regime with a peaceful armed uprising, Albania will be in the greatest turmoil".

And therefore our commitment, the commitment of citizens today is the only dam that can be erected against this predatory regime. Today, protest is to save the greatest public asset. Today's protest is to protect the most vital interests of citizens. Look at what's happening. Read everywhere.
All European governments have been put into motion how to deal with the oil crisis. There is a government here, 200 kilometers away from this area, that sells oil for 100, 150 lek, that has no port at all, that doesn't extract a liter of oil, and that doesn't sell any at a loss. No. Neither the merchants, nor the state, but there is no punitive tax like this government has on a liter of oil. 1.1 euros.
And at the height of this crisis, it takes away the subsidy for oil from the villagers, from the farmers. Because in Europe it says they have removed it. At a time when no country in Europe has removed it, absolutely. Every country has increased it. There are countries that have doubled the subsidy for farmers over time, during this period.
I emphasized this moment, because if we do not show the country, do not overthrow this regime, not the port, but Albania will have, will be in the greatest upheaval.
I listened to your expositions. Quite rightly. They absolutely rise to the level of national treason. But in how many, in many dimensions.
