In an interview with Politico , Rama announced that the government has reached a partnership with the platform and will soon present the new protective measures to the Albanian public.

"We are pleased with the result. We have made the partnership and I hope that in the coming weeks or months we will reveal the plan to the Albanian people, as we promised ," Rama said, adding that he was surprised by TikTok's reaction after the initial decision to ban.

He added: " Because at first, because it was normal to think that they would fight us, they would take revenge on us, they would harass us. I met them myself and I was very impressed by their attitude. They were listening very carefully to our points."
