BILD poll: One in two Germans would boycott the World Cup if the US annexed Greenland!

Almost one in two Germans would boycott this year's World Cup if Donald Trump followed through on his threats to annex Greenland.

This is the result of a survey by the INSA Institute for the newspaper "Bild".

47 percent of respondents would support a boycott of this year's World Cup if Donald Trump goes ahead with the annexation of Greenland.

The opposite view is expressed by 35% and 18% are undecided.

Recently, Christian Democratic Party politician Jürgen Hardt even mentioned the possible cancellation of the event, "as a last resort to make President Trump come to his senses on the Greenland issue."
