War with Russia, the European Union gives 90 billion euros in loans to Ukraine

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen promised on Tuesday from Kiev that the European Union will offer Ukraine a loan of 90 billion euros.
She stressed that Russia is systematically targeting energy infrastructure and that the EU will help Ukraine resist and respond with new support.
Full and continued support for the people of Ukraine was confirmed by more than thirty leaders who participated in a video conference on Ukraine, at the invitation of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
According to a statement issued after the end of the video conference, the leaders reiterated their unwavering commitment to working together to achieve a just and lasting peace, in accordance with the principles of the United Nations Charter, and reiterated their firm position that international borders should not be changed by force.
The leaders also reaffirmed their commitment to intensifying economic pressure on Russia, through additional sanctions and by targeting the Russian shadow fleet and oil trading networks, the Russian military industry, as well as by disrupting Russia's financial networks.
