Russian attacks in southeastern Ukraine leave the city of Dnipro without electricity

Russian attacks have caused power outages in several areas of southeastern Ukraine today, local authorities said, according to Ukrainian media reports.

According to Ukrainian television, most of the city of Dnipro has been left without electricity, causing the metro to stop running. Local officials have stated that at the moment it is not possible to make a reliable estimate of the time it will take to restore power.

Meanwhile, the DTEK company – the largest private electricity supplier in Ukraine – announced that power outages have also been recorded in areas of the Zaporizhia region.
