The Erzen River in Durrës is receding/ Major damage to houses and land in Juba and Katund ri

The Erzen River has returned to its bed and little by little the water is receding from the flooded areas in the Sukth and Katund i Ri Administrative Units. The situation seems to be improving but the day to return to daily life for the residents affected by the flood seems very distant. The receding water in the Sukth and Katund i Ri areas has given way to debris and mud.
There are only flooded homes in the Ish-Këneta area, where dozens of houses and buildings are still under the power of the floods.
Residents of the former Këneta need the help of the authorities to remove water from their homes and yards.
According to current data, the flood affected at least 4,000 homes and buildings, while over 850 residents were evacuated, as their homes were uninhabitable.
