Bad weather in Kukës, some villages have problems with electricity

In Kukës, as a result of the rainfall, some segments of national and municipal roads have been at risk of falling rocks, inert materials and soil, as well as blockages of culverts. Contractors continue work to clear inert materials and snow, as well as to salt the roads in the problematic segments.

Currently, all national road axes are passable, while the municipalities of Kukës, Tropojë and Has have not reported any new problems.

Regarding electricity supply, the entire Kukës Region is supplied normally, with the exception of several villages: Kam, Lajthiz, Haxhibegaj, Zogaj and Xhuxhë in the Bytyç Administrative Unit; Llugaj and Pac in the Llugaj Administrative Unit; and the village of Çerem in the Margegaj Administrative Unit, Tropojë Municipality.

Drinking water supply in the region is carried out according to the schedules set by the Kukës Regional Directorate of Water Supply and Sewerage.
