A school bus collided with a passenger train at a railway crossing in Belgium this morning, killing several people and injuring many others.
The tragic collision occurred at around 8:15 a.m. local time at the level crossing on Stationsstraat in Buggenhout. Rail operator Infrabel said the barriers were down and warning lights were on at the time of the accident.
It is believed that around 100 passengers were on board the train.
