Murder in Memaliaj/ Police provide details: The victim was seriously injured during the armed conflict, lost his life on the way to the hospital, the perpetrator is on the run. His brother also remains injured

Gjirokastra Police have provided details of the murder that occurred this evening at around 8:50 PM, in Memaliaj, where it is suspected that after a conflict, citizen DN, 29 years old, shot citizen Endri Goxhaj, 30 years old, who lost his life on the way to the hospital.

The suspected perpetrator's brother, citizen DN, 25 years old, was also injured, under still unclear circumstances, and his life is out of danger.

The suspected perpetrator, after the incident, fled in a vehicle. Police services are pursuing him.

Meanwhile, a special investigative group has been established, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, to clarify the circumstances and legally document the event.
