Librazhd-Prrenjas road blocked for seven hours after landslide

After about seven hours of hard work, the blocked segment of the Librazhd-Prrenjas national road has been opened, which was blocked after the route was covered by hundreds of cubic meters of rocks and soil that fell from the hillside.

The slope in question is part of the works for the construction of a segment of the new road route, part of the project known as Corridor Eight, where the company "ANK" shpk is currently operating.

The intensive work of heavy machinery and field teams made it possible to completely clear the road and resume traffic in both directions. Road authorities appeal for maximum caution from drivers, emphasizing the importance of respecting signage and warnings in areas where intensive work is being carried out.

The opening of the segment comes after an emergency intervention aimed at ensuring the safety of passengers and the speedy return of normal traffic, minimizing the consequences of a sudden natural event on the road connecting Librazhd with Prrenjas.
