Sensational! Juventus wants Mauro Icardi, lightning negotiations to buy the former Inter player in the January transfer window

Juventus is looking for another striker to join the team led by Luciano Spalletti and according to "Sky Sport", a sensational hypothesis has emerged.

Sources close to the black and white club speak of their concrete interest in Mauro Icardi, the striker of Galatasaray, who is in the final months of his contract with the Turkish club and will not be offered a renewal there. Galatasaray is Juventus' next rival in the Champions League but this has not stopped the Italian team from seeking information, as it is interested in buying the Argentine's card in the January transfer market.

Icardi's transfer to Juventus would be a sensational blow, considering his past with the Bianconeri. Icardi was an important part of Inter and even held the captain's armband there, before breaking off relations with the club's leaders, who stripped him of the armband and then transferred him to PSG.

It is reported that Juventus has offered Icardi a one-and-a-half-year contract, until the summer of 2027.
