The collapse of the dangerous massif at the "Dragostunja Bends" is completed, the second phase of cleaning the Librazhd-Prrenjas axis begins

On the Librazhd-Prrenjas national road axis, in the area known as "Dragostunjës Bends", at around 16:35, the "ANK" company completed the collapse of a dangerous rock massif, which could cause landslides and block the road again.

Immediately after this, the second phase of the intervention with heavy vehicles began to remove stones and dirt from the roadway, where traffic had been interrupted since 11:00 on Sunday. The cleaning aims to restore normal vehicle traffic, which during the blockage had created queues of up to 15 km in both directions.

Currently, work to completely clear the road continues, while traffic remains limited until the intervention is completed and safety for drivers is guaranteed. The Traffic Police and other authorities call for maximum caution and follow official announcements for the full opening of the Librazhd-Prrenjas road.
