Traders in Vlora protest in front of the municipality, asked to leave their place of work

Traders of the industrial market in the city of Vlora protested in front of the city hall on Monday evening.

The reason for the protest was the announcement issued by the Municipality of Vlora, according to which traders must leave the premises where they carry out their activities within three days, as part of a project that envisages the construction of a new market.

The protesters say that they were not offered any concrete alternative to relocating the activity and that the decision was made without any prior consultation with them.

They emphasize that such a unilateral decision directly jeopardizes the only source of income for dozens of families who live from this commercial activity.
