Suspected in the murder of Jani Aliaj, Juliand Halili's crimes over the years are revealed, he worked with the notorious Vasilis Varelas, involved in drug trafficking

Greek police classify Juliand Halili (44), also known as Juliano Halili or Niko, as one of the most dangerous criminals, linked to several serious criminal offenses in Greek territory. He is accused of at least four murders, one attempted murder and is also being investigated for the latest murder inside the “Koridhalos” prison.
Halili is suspected of having acted on several occasions under the orders of the famous Greek criminal Vasilis Varelas, who is considered one of the key figures of organized crime in Greece and is involved in drug trafficking and other serious crimes.
According to the investigation, under Varela's direction, Halili participated in serious criminal events since 2008:
March 6, 2009 – In Nea Filadelfia, Halili shot Varela's wife's ex-husband twice in the head and once in the chest. The victim survived after several surgeries.
August 5, 2009 – A second assassination attempt was organized against the same person in Igoumenitsa, but the perpetrator failed to shoot after the weapon jammed.
November 11, 2008 – In Mikromani, Kalamata, 29-year-old Sotiri Psikopaida, a disco employee, was shot four times, including a bullet to the head.
November 29, 2011 – Under Varela's orders, Halili executed 35-year-old Fillim Mesaja and his 2.5-year-old son, Oligert Mesaja, near the Pamiso River in Messinia. Fillim was shot in the head with a pair of rifles, while the child was then raped. The incident was related to a feud between Varela and Mesaja.
In 2018, Halili escaped from the Port of Piraeus during a transfer to prison, along with convict Alfons Ndoci. Both were recaptured by authorities shortly after.
The latest incident that shocked public opinion occurred in June 2024, inside the Koridhalos prison, where Halili killed 35-year-old prisoner Alfons Ndoci and injured 48-year-old Altin Vokrri. Investigations by Greek authorities indicate that Ndoci's murder was allegedly ordered from outside the prison and for a financial reward.
